Plot Synopsis
Shrek the Third finds Shrek and Fiona reluctantly reigning over Far, Far Away. Indeed they seem to have some difficulty fitting into their robes, as well as adjusting to the etiquette expected of monarchs as Shrek is seen in the trailer (see below) having his nosehairs plucked. But if they can find the heir to the throne and bring him back, they can leave their current lives behind and return to their swamp. While Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots are in search of the heir, Fiona holds off a coup d’etat by Prince Charming. In the teaser trailer it can be seen that Donkey and Puss in Boots accidentally switch bodies through magic. It is also seen that Prince Charming interrupts a tea party attended by the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf to order Pinocchio to tell him where Shrek is on the basis of him being unable to lie. However Pinocchio gets around this pitfall by answering the prince in a confusing manner. Snow White is portrayed as a rich, spoilt princess. She seems to have a rebellious streak as she has a tattoo of the name "Dopey" inscribed on her arm and tears the bottom of her dress off to reveal her legs.
